Here are some real world examples where Pacific Bridge & Construction has demonstrated a faster, less expensive, and environmentally friendly bridge design.
Wee Burn Creek
This is a 20ft bridge on a 40 degree skew. Coho salmon were spawning under this bridge only one month after project completion.
Potter Creek
Here is a 20ft bridge on a private drive. This required only a two day road closure. After completion, salmon were once again allowed unrestricted access to spawning grounds upriver of the bridge.
Potter Creek, Site 4
Site 4 is a 65ft bridge using a steel girder for the main span with concrete decking. The road was closed for less than two weeks. Also on a private drive, this will be used by a contractor driving heavy equipment almost every day. Pacific Bridge & Construction can meet the new ODOT HL93 load rating, which basically means if it can drive on the highway, it can drive over our bridges.
Bridge Creek
This bridge replaced a culvert and cost less than a three sided box bridge. With the culvert replaced, fish passage was greatly enhanced.
Mill Creek
Here we replaced another culvert. Another advantage was getting required permits from the state was much faster and easier, as we once again improved fish passage with minimal environmental impact.
